Stacey Schifferdecker has been working as a professional writer since 1986. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and French and a Master’s degree in Technical Writing. Stacey worked as a technical writer for DST Systems, Inc. (a financial recordkeeping company) and for AMS Systems, Inc. (an insurance software company). She designed and wrote such items as
Stacey also worked as technical editor for e2M, Inc., an environmental consulting firm, and for the Fluid Power Research Center of Oklahoma State University. In addition to editing technical articles and books, she also designed and edited environmental reports, standard operating procedures, pollution prevention documents, and emergency management plans
Stacey also lends her expertise to volunteer organizations, designing and writing newsletters, brochures, and guides for Habitat for Humanity (Springfield, MO), New Haven United Methodist Church (Tulsa,OK), Carnegie Elementary School PTA (Tulsa, OK), and Cub Scout Pack 67 (Tulsa, OK).
